What?

Like many others, it’s just a website takes images (potentially from sister projects Stardew Png or Pokemon Png) that makes cross-stitch patterns.

Image Selection UI Pattern Generation UI

I focused mine on reducing the number of choices required to make useable patterns, which I think I was successful in achieving. Additionally I wanted the page to show any changes in real-time, so as soon as you toggle the page orientation, the preview updates and you can see what your change did. This is something that in my opinion makes other pattern generators more annoying to use.

How?

Well, I just kind of made it lol. Most of the difficulty came from the fact that I used it as an opportunity to play with some new tools, Vue and Vite this time. I found them pretty nice to work with!

Why?

This project was for Nanner, who was annoyed with the existing cross stitch pattern generators (of which there are many!!). She says she uses it all the time, which was one of my metrics for success here ^_^
