The jam this was for was a Bit Jam, so it had an additional requirement of only having two colors on the screen at a time. It was super fun to make a shader to flatten everything into two colors attractively, and then to design graphics that only cared about brightness.
Unfortunately match-3 games really don’t work well with limited colors, and this also was another one of those more-days game jams, so it didn’t end up doing all that well. oh well!
