The themes for this game were “bad endings only” and “Night”, and I was full-tilt on puzzle games at the moment, so I tried to make a game that had one level but enough endings to fill a bingo board.
That last thing, trying to FILL a bingo board, with 24 unique endings, ended up being a huge burden: it took up a lot of development time, and it ended up requiring me to stretch the puzzles I could come up with instead of pruning down to only the stronger ones. I was happy with a lot of what I came up with, but there are definitely some stinkers.
